i'm sure you can do it. just follow the pattern, and if you've got any questions, just ask. i never hesitate when trying to knit something different - if i don't already know how to do it, i will figure it out. that's how i figured out cables, and purling, and socks, etc etc. you can do it! it looks pretty straightforward anyway. :)

thanks :) i'll def ask if needed. this will be my first project involving a pattern, and an arseload of expensive yarn, so i want to do it right!

It might be a bit on the difficult side, as it looks like colorwork and extensive short-row shaping are involved. But oh, how I love that sweater. You might want to try something a little less difficult with short rows first, just to get a feel for them. And don't be surprised if you have to frog a couple of times before you get it right.

But I think you can do it, as long as you're willing to be patient with it. (^_^)
