this is what a wore a couple days ago:
- pendleton 49er
- black 8-gore skirt from goodwill bins
- scarf i made
- headscarf (covering hotsticks)
- 50s sunglasses from hollywood vintage
- old navy blouse
- bike helmet (post hotsticks removal)
- (not shown) black kneesocks with think rainbow pinstripes from H&M; late-40s black wedgie-loafers
note: i bought an art deco vanity the other day and haven't cleaned the mirror all the way yet. spotty!
it was the messiest set (and style) ever but still looked ok!
under my bike helmet i cover my hair with a scarf, and pull it back in a loose hair elastic so it doesn't get blown out by the wind. this was an important discovery for me since i go most places by bike!
and last night... this is such an outfit i'd wear everyday that i thought i'd post it though - i was feeling too lazy to actually dress up! one of my favorite girls is looking excellent in REAL vintage casualwear as well!
on me:
- homemade 49'er (made in the 50s, not by me!)
- ann taylor loft high-waist, wide-leg dungarees
- remix double-strap wedgies in cream/luggage
- (not shown) old navy blouse again - it's getting a lot of mileage these days!
- 70s headscarf for lazy hair. i accidentally conditioned my hair that morning and couldn't get it to do ANYTHING!
