Bridges

they need to be appropriate for 3rd graders, so no sex/drug references.

change London Bridge to Portland Bridge :) Itsy Bitsy Spider has some rain in it, maybe you could get the clip from The Crow "It Can't Rain All the Time."

you should've heard the version of london bridge/burnside bride i wrote the other day. it got vetoed as inappropriate.

burnside bridge is falling down
falling down, falling down
burnside bridge is falling down
on the skate park

etc...

hey, you don't know me, but I was reading my friends of friends list and couldn't resist commenting.

You should check out Adrienne Young, she's a folk singer and her album Room to Grow came to mind upon reading that list. I don't know how literal you're looking for, but there are a few songs there that might help you.

i know, its so right on i figured you already knew about it. on the peninsula if you go to a public grade school in 5th grade you go to "outdoor ed" [camping for a week], and to prep you for it they make you listen to dirt made my lunch 7000 times and do science projects about composting and recycling.
