Impounding Doom

Tibby and Carmen went to the fair,
But these girls did not park there.
They chose a spot
In the adjascent lot
And strolled off without a care.

The girls ate junk from a fried food stand,
Applauded the efforts of a student band,
Saw quilts and totes,
Alpacas and goats,
And agreed the day was grand.

But the girls discovered on leaving the fair
