We had no shortage of fascinating sights out the window today. First the downpour, as shown above,
and then...
...turkeys. Just hangin' out in the yard. Preening, if you will. They appeared to be taking no notice of the abundance of worms the rain had driven above ground. Maybe they were vegetarians.
Then the neighbor's dog, behind the fence, barked.
Those turkeys were chickens.
Meanwhile, I'm not the biggest fan of rainy weather. Can I have my California back now?
