Today is my mom's birthday. I borrowed Taylor Swift's idea of making a music video using footage from old home movies. The song is "The Best Day", which Taylor wrote for her mom. Taylor's video is completely adorable and worth watching (link).

Weird. Very weird. Sitting at home, awaiting the phone call that will tell us my grandma has passed away. 'Cause she's going. All her doctors at the hospital agree and say it's gonna happen. Hours? Germany, Austria, Slovenia, and Croatia are all gorgeous countries! I had a wonderful wonder-filled time with my dad and one of my sisters. My absolute favorite experience of the trip was the sea organ in Zadar, Croatia.
