I love the new show Lie To Me. I'd almost forgotten how much until we got caught up last night. <3 I'd even almost forgotten just how much I love Dr. Foster. I really really do. And I must therefore share her with you all so you can understand why. (Being me, there's ship in this, too.)
This is Dr. Gillian Foster:
She is beautiful. She is grace and elegance personified. From the way she holds herself to the classy way she dresses to the lovely waves of her hair, she is everything a true lady should be.
She is also occasionally silly and/or cute. This makes her perfect and wonderful and lovable.
This is Dr. Cal Lightman:
He and Gillian are friends and partners. They work well together.
She does sometimes want to punch him, though, but I think that's normal. (Look, she's even pretty and elegant when making fists!)
Cal is sweet on Gillian. This is his "I am concerned for Gillian" face.
Gillian is, sadly, married. To this guy.
That guy lies to her. A lot. Ria (another coworker) doesn't like that, or him.
Neither does Cal, truth be told.
Sometimes things make Gillian sad. Look at her shining eyes!
Husband does not help when she is sad. Cal does.
In conclusion, Cal good, Husband bad, and Gillian really really pretty.
Are we clear? Good!
