As for the "watchmen" movie, that movie is completely irrelevant. The GN may have been great back in '85, but everything that was "new" or whatever has been covered extensively since then by all the media forms.
Sorry to go off like that :-) I just think "watchmen" is one of the most over rated stories ever...

I was merely commenting that from what I understand of it, Watchmen had clearly influenced the Wachowski brothers (same guy wrote V for Vendetta), and that The Matrix in turn had influenced recent comic book movies allowing Watchmen the movie to be made.
Haven't seen it (yet), haven't read it (yet), and can understand why you wouldn't like it on a lot of levels based on what I know of it, but no, I don't quite get the suddenly going off out of the blue...
