hummm tough call.

you don't really want to say goodbye to that friendship but there has definitely been some douchey activity. :/

I think I will pause and try not to initiate anymore conversations... i can only hope that when he's finished being a douche I'm not pissed at him any more so I will want to listen..

i love that you start it out, "So the other day..." when in actuality it's a "for months" story that seems to strongly justify heavy interest in not putting nearly as much effort and attention into this individual as you are currently doing!

if it's a friendship that's been lasting since grade 9 then it's definitely not worth nothing now, but from what you've conveyed it is certainly not worth what you've been outputting.

if this individual has in fact turned out to be a douche then remember the rule of douches: they need not be used frequently, if at all, and often only in times of dire need.

thanks anonymous. this makes me feel more confident in my decision to back off for a bit. I can only assume that if our friendship is worth something to him he'll come around in time.

unfortunately it seems that his actions reflect the many other douches from highschool that I chose to walk away from then, I just hope that he's not following a trend of the region.
