I’m facetiously against this.

I mean, once they question one infallible teaching, they might as well use that momentum to question a few more-and then they wouldn’t be Catholics anymore.

Besides, an image of slavish obedience to chauvinistic traditions immune to questioning and modernisation is much more in line with what the Catholic Church deserves. The world’s better off that way.

This makes me ever more thankful for the Venerable Dr. Ellen Clark-King, the priest who gave the most beautiful, touching, wonderful sermon at my church this morning.

This is also why I am Anglican.

I pretty much wonder why bother? Why not just start another church? What does being a priest is a church that disagree vehemently get you that might not otherwise be had elsewhere?
