Sora and Riku flew in over Destiny Island, the Gummi ship hovering to a stop right on the little island they had called home for so many years. A sigh drifted from the boy's lips as he sprang out of the pilots seat and moved towards the door, exiting the thing. "C'mon Riku, don't want to keep my mom waiting."

Can anyone really blame him for pausing on the beach every time? It's home and he loves it now, even if he thinks he doesn't deserve to be here.

"You're the one who made us late."

"We had to take a detour! It's fine, let's just land and go say hi." Sora insisted as he piled out of the ship. A few seconds later and they were knocking on the front door.

"Mom?"

"We'll leave early next time." Or else.

He's a foot or two behind Sora, trying not to look awkward and too tall.

"...Fine." Sora grumbled where he was, waiting for the door to open, his hands on the back of his head.

Riku was the awkwardest, although when the door open and the woman swept them up in a hug, that didn't matter much.

"Boys!"
