Riku is to one side of Sora, Kairi on the other. Bringing a gift never occurred to him. And he's a thousand times more awkward than he looks right now, because he knows what Sora's going to bring up today. Please chicken out, please.

"Afternoon."

Clutching at Sora's hand in a failing attempt to keep him calm, Kairi lets herself smile brightly and thinks, hopefully, that everything is going to work out for the best.

"Good afternoon, Fumiko!"

In one hand Sora was gripping a gift box, in the other he had Kairi's in a deathgrip. It would take some kind of miracle for him to let her go right now. This was going to be the most awkward meal of his entire life.

"Kids! Oh, I'm glad you came back. Hello, Riku, Sora, Kairi! Oh they did bring you. Sometimes boys can be so forgetful." She was totally going in for the hug, all three of them.
