So we just finished the midterm of 3rd quarter and I can hardly believe there are only 11 weeks of school left! Wow! (Secret cry of glee.) I read your journal (finally) anyway I caught up from mid November. I was thinking that you journey is like an impressionist art (Monet, Renoir, ect). If you get very close to the canvas you can see individual brush stokes of beautiful colors, but it seem random, chaotic, or abstract. It is enjoyable, yet it is hard to find the unity or meaning. It is only as you move further back that the picture emerges into a fanastic whole. Moral: if the fine detail (your teaching) is intack the overall experience (5-10 yrs from now) will be a beautiful fulfillment. I believe your work in Honduras will be a rich source for you the rest of your life. It is ok to not understand it all right now, just be yourself and be happy. Like you say, PEACE. I think peace is a choice each individual must make. To change the world, it really is "one person at a time". You cannot take away a good education and I believe Math skills, though somewhat absolute, create the success of knowlege. and I know you know that it is not the rich people or money ( ... )
