Hi - I'm sorry I cannot find the blinkin' picture I was after. The lady I am thinking of wore a red corset type bodice and a skirt with an apron, over a shift. This will be perfectly O.K. for you - the skirt and top can be different colours. In my experience, and I am happy to be proved wrong, kirtles worn under other garments tended to be all in

Thats fine -- I have an italian ren gown I am going to finish up for this weekend.

I dont have mary janes, but I should be able to find black lace up boots or someting of the like.

Im contemplating doing something flemish after this, or I might stick with the good old Italian.
