Well, yesterday I shot over to Paris to see the exhibition I made the mantua petticoat for. (So easy - just get on a train and 2hrs 45 mins later you are in Paris!) She said that my hearing loss is not typical of Meniere's - didn't ask why I thought it was, didn't ask about the hearing problems I suffered from earlier in the year, when it was as if a generator was running all the time. Well, today I took the plunge, and had a slightly (note slightly) different hair cut. Those of you who know me, know that my hair is silver, and I wear it smooth and simple - I am 62 after all. Well, I had a very pleasant and profitable ball and day after. It was held at a retreat, so single rooms, sharing loo and shower facilities - all a bit basic, but good food and beautiful surroundings. To bring you up to speed. There is a building on the corner of my road which developers wish to build on. They wish to raise the height higher than the other buildins in the road, and build 9 apartments. I have been objecting, as the "new" building will be directly between my workroom and daylight. Madam Shadow has just walked into the office, looked at me and flounced out again. She has been hiding IN the house for 6 hours!!
