We left Buffy's, I of course left a note so that they wouldn't think that Andrew escaped or anything, and we got to my apartment problem free. I directed Andrew to the bathroom as I rummaged for clothes for him.
I grabbed a pair of jeans and a button down t-shirt. I also grabbed him a towel and stood outside the door. I was going to just drop the stuff in the bathroom by the door, but when I opened it, I froze. The stuff dropped out of my hand, and for some reason, a reason I don't understand, I just stared as he showered.
The glass door wasn't quite clear, but clear enough, and why am I staring? Stop staring Xander...no possible way you can be interested in Andrew...it's bad and and...
Out of no where I sneezed, my eyes went wide, shit he's going to know I was in here. Play it cool man, be cool. I quickly pulled back and shut the door. Moving to my bed I sat down on it, my leg bouncing like crazy. Man oh man, this can't be good.
Thats my motto. So i didn't feel embarrassed as I started to sing that La cucaracha song way out loud.
I continued showering as I thought of what was to come...I eman here I am...in Xander's shower...bout to go out on a date with him....well not a date...but well...a...oh I don't know...a date.
What does this mean?

All of a sudden I hear a sneeze...and I look out the steaming windo to see a door close....
Oh my god....was he...was he staring at me? All naked? And showering? And....oh my...
Sitting on the bed, my leg nervously shaking, biting at my finger nails...wait I don't bite my nails. Shit. Can't sit still.
Getting up I begin to pace, then I remember something that may take the heat off of me, I have hot pockets.
Moving to the kitchen I pull one out of the freezer and throw it in the microwave. I pace as it cooks, whipping out a beer and downing it. Ok Xand, calm down, breathe man, breathe. Maybe he didn't even notice.
I tentatively tip out of the shower wit ha towel around my body and my head. Didn't know for sure if Xander was still there...well why would he be? Duh think Andrew...he's not gonna stick around and watch you flance aroudn the bathroom...
Oh maybe he would...or....oh I don't know! This is so confusing!
I see the clothes Xander has picked out for me in a neat pile in the corner so it was official that he was in the bathroom and saw me showering. Oh god...he's probally running into the street trying to get as far away as possible...
I put on the clothes....they smell like Xander...wiat...how do I know what Xander smells like? God snap out of it Wells!!
I put on the clothes...they're a little ig on me...and I tentatively step out of the bathroom, steam creeping out into the open air and hear the microwave running in the kitchen... Oh man I think to myself... another hotpocket disaster.....
I move into the kitchen and try really hard no act like nothing happened

Ok, you know what, I'm confused, I think he's confused...let's try and make this less confusing.
"Andrew are you...'cuz I think I am...what I'm trying to say is..." Ok what am I trying to say? I leaned back against the wall of the elevator and sighed again.
Man I need a vacation...or to get laid...NO no no...just a vacation...oh man.
"Huh? What? Huh?" I asked after every single question he asked...I leaned forward with every intent...tryign to see if there was some possibility that he might....
"What are you tryin to say Xand?" I asked as he leaned the up against hte still moving elevator...GOD THE BUILDING IS ONLY 3 STORIES HIGH!
"Xander..." I move up close to him..."Do you..."
And the elevator doors opened and a girl and her boyfriend were standing there holding hands getting ready to go into the elevator.
We were in the lobby. Perfect timing for the doors to open.
I lifted my eyes when he spoke, and I watched him step closer to me. My heart started beating faster, and I actually licked my lips nervously.
But of course that's when the doors opened. My eyes shot straight to the couple, and I moved from the wall and waved to them. "Jake, Sarah...um hi."
With that, I grabbed Andrew's arm and pulled him out, they looked at us funny and got into the elevator laughing. When the doors closed again, I realized I was still holding onto Andrew and I let go. "Uh...sorry."
Ok, two options. One, go to the Bronze and eat...two, go back upstairs and talk. Decisions...damn. "So...Bronze now?"
We were so close...damn elevator. From now on i am abandoning all electric appliances. Except for the mircrowaves...for without them Hotpockets would ahve no meaning....I'm getting off track.
Xander grabbed my arm and led me out of the elevator past the confused couple. He realized he was still holding on when he let go.
"So...Bronze now?"
I really wanted to talk about it...but it looked like he wasnt sure...hell... I wasn't sure. I guess I would jsut let time take its tole.
Damn time.
