Nothing is as depressing and, at the same time, rewarding as finishing a really great book.

I finished "Harpo Speaks," and I'll write more about it later. But I need some suggestions from the hive mind:

What should I read next? I only really like nonfiction. It doesn't matter what kind: auto/biography, travel, history, etc. It just needs to be well ( Read more... )

You need to read The Blank Slate by Steven Pinker or Genius: The Life and Science of Richard Feynman by James Gleick.

Have you ever read 'Letters To Theo'? It is letters Vincent Van Gogh wrote to his brother. I have a strange obsession with Van Gogh, but it is one of my favorite books. Otherwise I'm mostly a fiction reader.
