Here's a moth I saw at work when it flew onto our trailer. While it was flying towards me, I thought it was a bat. This thing is huge. Anyone care to ID it?

It's a little hard to tell what the scale is, but my scientific judgement is GIANT FUCKING TERRIFYING MOTH RUN AWAY RUN AWAY. I could be wrong.

It looks like an Io moth. I'm no moth expert, though. I just googled "big MS moths," found this website (http://www.butterfliesandmoths.org/map?ds=25&_dcs=1), and started opening pics of the ones with cool names.

I dunno... The Io Moth's wings go out at angles from its body. Like a Stealth Bomber. The moth I snapped has straight wings almost all the way to the tips. The body looks like the same, though. Who knows...

Thanks for looking though. That's a cool website!
