Even though it isn't official, my dad is so sure that we are moving to Arkansas that he has started planning the trip there. He and I will take the ferry from Haines, AK, and a couple days later arrive near Seattle, WA. A couple of hours ago we just had a VERY large earthquake. I haven't found out the exact magnitude of it yet, but it felt stronger than the 7.9 that we had two years ago. My bet is that it was between 8.3 and 9.0. As far as earthquakes go, this one was pretty strange. It had a small "warning shake" just seconds before the main quake. I was ( Read more... )

Yesterday was interesting, to say the least. At bowling my team (currently in 2nd place) played the 1st place team. What else can I say about that except...BOOYA BABY!!! We kicked there little first-placed booties! We beat them in all four games, and I actually bowled well at league (finally!); getting around 150 each game ( Read more... )

I'm about to leave the house to go snowboarding. So far today, it hasn't stopped snowing, so we have about 10 inches of fresh snow. Add to that the snow we got yesterday, and that's about a foot-and-a-half. Dang.

Well, my dad went into surgery yesterday, and should be coming home later on today. The operation started at around noon, and ended around 4pm.
