LCD anyone?

I was really close to going for the deal on the 47" LCD but I need to hold off on a new tv for a year or so at least. That being said these are great deals to say the least!

holy CRAP those are awesome prices. I bit the bullet and got a 50" DLP last fall, and I lurv it to pieces.

we've got a samsung dlp in the living room which is great but we got a smaller lcd for the bedroom and itblows the dlp out of the water.

Must resist upgrade!

Aye, an LCD will usually be miles sharper unless you're at the end range of your viewing distances...but on the dollar/inch value (not to mention super low ms response for gaming), we had to go DLP....but man, with prices like the one you posted, its hard not to go LCD.

Amazingly it seems that I do have some "good sense" as I have not and will not be purchasing any new tv during the foreseeable future.
