So who can educate me on what I need to know before I buy a place to live, specifically: 

• Shopping for a condo
• Condos vs. co-ops
• Finding and using a realtor
• Shopping for a mortgage
• Entering into a contract early (say, oh, I don't know, before July but not closing/moving in until November or whenever I get back from Africa
