Court fun!

I got to go to Federal Court today! Yup, your's truely was called for Jury Duty! So I went downtown and prepared to do my civic duty. The case was the city of Blane vs. Company X (I'm not trying to protect anyone, I really can't remember their name.) Since when does justice requires ignorance?
When the court doesn't want you because you might see the holes in their arguments you know something is wrong with the system.

I agree. I think they knew they didn't try hard enough to find remains, and they NEVER should have moved them. It sounded like they were trying to make it sound like they were using a buldozer and scooped up a skeleton in a load of dirt and didn't realize it till later. (Bah!) I would have been hard pressed to not agree with the City of Blaine in this.

Oh well.

Is that a pre-judgement I see? It is now quite moo, but that is certainly the kind of demeanor that would get you disqualified.

Probably. I tried not to be judgemental in the courtroom though. It was only after that I started getting a touch offended. :) Of course, it's probably just my over active ego that believes I'm overqualified.
