So why is it there is no Pagan junk mail - just Christian.... perhaps they work more of the guilt angle than Pagans do. How many of these have you sent along just to possibly word off bad luck. Usually with the promise of finding your true love with in hours or days just by exposing your friend list to more internet gibberish. So why do we ( Read more... )

I forward them directly to the trash. I also add the sender, unless it's someone I reeeeeaaaally care about to the spam list.

My Dad's pretty much the only one still sending this kind of drivel that hasn't been permanently blocked. I've gotten into the habit of going immediately to the end of anything he sends me to see if it's more religious dogma so I can delete it without wasting my time reading.

My feeling is that there's no pagan junk mail because the folks who care enough to learn about and follow a pagan path have too much respect for others to endulge in this type of silliness.

I see the spammers as predators. I've often heard christians make reference to their leaders as sheppards and the leaders speak of the responsibility to their flock. Since christians seem to define themselves as prey, it seems only natural that they would be the target of predators.
As a side note: It was very nice to see you at lunch on Saturday. It has been too long.
