Project status

I've been doing a lot of setup work for my study this past week. Earlier, I had been mostly reading about cortisol and spit and dog stress studies. Now I'm on campus more, doing things like making sure our A/V setup works to film dogs. Ugh, cold-calling. But. . . perhaps for the first part of the study, you want basically healthy dogs anyway? Animals being held to be altered, for instance? And so you wouldn't have such stressed people to be calling. . .

That's the hope! Unfortunately Tufts, being a referral hospital, doesn't get all that many animals in for something as routine as being altered. I assume I'll get dogs with torn cruciates and bad hips, things like that. And it seems possible owners will have questions. Let's hope I'm just being overly anxious.
