bold hypocrisy

The US complaining that Iraq is violating the Geneva convention is like the CEO of Enron complaining that someone cheated at Monopoly. International law is only of concern to the US government when they can twist it to make points against someone else. They are guilty of aggression by violating Article 50 of the UN charter. Well no one knows who's there and certainly there's been no trial of any kind to determine if they want to kill anyone much less Americans. Even if they did they have rights - right that need to be upheld. Even in war there are rights. No we don't have the right to do anything we want to them because they maybe might know someone who wants to bomb or otherwise assault the US. And we certainly don't have any right invading a country, or even complaingin about them based on violations of human rights when the US violates them flagrantly.

I'll take the meaningless Oil for Food bs, and photographing prisoners over US violence and human rights abuses every day.
