I haven't been through atlanta however I have yet to come across an airport that is too terribly confusing. Assuming that you are staying on the same carrier, the terminals shouldn't be too far from one another. Your tickets will have the flight numbers on them and you will be able to look up the terminals on the displays. If you have any concerns, you can ask agents at any of the counters. An hour and a half will be plenty of time to figure it out. :) ...If you miss your flight, they can arrange to put you on the next one.

yeah i am staying on the same airline, and i dont imagine that it will be too much of a nightmare. and my dad just told me if i know how to read i can figure it out, or go crying to one of the people that work there=)
like i said, i have seen home alone too many times or something. i have never been alone that far from home. hell i have never been that far from home period. my cell has never been off that long. i wont see my kid for 4 days. i think i am just being neurotic.

if you are flying the same airline you will always definitely be somewhere in the same terminal (not the same gate, but probably in that general area of the airport.)

you'll be FINE, and you can turn your cell on as soon as you land ;)

I actually have had a case where I had to go over to another terminal entirely... but that has only happened once and it really wasn't as scary as you would think. And yes, there are plenty of people you can ask for help and directions at airports. In that case as soon as I departed the plane, there were attendants standing at the exit (there usually are) and I just asked her where to go and she was very helpful. There are always tons of airport employees all over the place in airports (duh) and as long as you are not afraid to ask directions you will do fine.

very easy, but i understand why it can be overwhelming - it always used to be for me (and in fact, sometimes still is). when you get off the plane, you need to find out what gate your next flight is at. look for a bank of monitors that say departures on the top, which will have flights for the next few hours listed, along with their status and gate. when you figure out where it is, it may be in the same terminal as you, or it may be in another. either way, along the main hallways, there should be directions (usually hanging down from the ceiling) that say things like "gates B 1-12 this way, terminals A,C that way". if you're in the same terminal it's generally very easy. if it's another terminal, you'll have to walk a little farther or maybe take a shuttle - all that will be pretty clearly marked, just follow the signs ( ... )
