ABOUT US:
1. What is JPN for PH?
JPN for PH is a platform that will be used to raise funds to donate to various charities for help is needed. While this is started as a fund-raising project for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda, we aim to use this in future fund-raising activities.
2. Who runs JPN for PH?
JPN for PH is run by the Nihongaku Alliance, a community of all Japanese music fan clubs in the Philippines. You may learn more about us in our Facebook page.
ABOUT THE FUND-RAISING:
1. How do I sell?
You can help by offering fanworks (fan fiction, fan art, fan graphics) or fan-related services (translating, subbing, scanning, etc.). Simply make a new post in the community with the following:
Subject is: [OFFERING] What You’re Offering (ex. [OFFERING] Fan Fiction)
Username:
E-mail address:
Fandoms: List them all
I am offering: fic/art/graphics/audio/etc.
Examples of my work: (Link your masterpost here!)
What I can do: Preferred fandoms, preferred pairings, preferred rating, etc.
What I cannot do: What you cannot write, draw, etc.
Other details: If the buyer will provide raw material (e.g. raw video, raw scan, etc.)
Minimum Offer (in USD. 1 USD = 43 PhP):

2. How do I buy?
Simply comment on the post with the following:
Username:
E-mail address:
Offer (in USD):
Request: Fandom - pairing - rating - prompt, if possible; what you want translated/subbed/etc.
If a poster offers multiple services (fan fiction and fan art, for example), and you want both, kindly comment separately for both. You can see a sample here!
3. Until when can we buy and sell?
You can buy and sell until December 8, 2013, 11:59p.m., MNL time. (You may check for the equivalent time zone of your country here)
4. Until when is the deadline for the works that we have to complete?
There is no deadline for your works, but do kindly coordinate with your buyer on when they want them.
PAYMENT
1. Where will the proceeds go?
All of the proceeds for the fund-raising project will go to Red Cross Philippines.
2. How are we sure that the money will go to Red Cross Philippines?
We do understand that there will be suspicions on how the money will be handled, and we will try to be as transparent as possible by giving you regular updates on the funds. However, to make you comfortable and secure in donating, we will be giving you two options in donating.
3. How do we donate?
We will be giving you two options:
OPTION ONE: DIRECT DONATION TO A CHARITY/ORGANIZATION OF YOUR CHOICE
Aside from Red Cross, there are other organizations that are helping in the disaster relief efforts, which you can see here. To confirm that you have, indeed, donated to a charity of your choice, kindly send a screenshot of the transaction (if done online) or a scanned copy or photo of the deposit slip (if done by bank transfer) to jpnforph@gmail.com, and make sure to include your Livejournal username and the Livejournal username/s of the seller/s.
OPTION TWO: SENDING THE MONEY TO OUR ACCOUNT
For buyers outside the Philippines:

4. Can we donate instead of buying fan works?
Yes, you can, and you may use the payment options above. However, we do encourage you to buy fan works for the fund-raising, and you may also help by joining other ongoing fund-raising projects here.
5. Until when can we pay?
Payment is until December 14, 2013, 11:59p.m. MNL time. (You may check for the equivalent time zone of your country here). If you donated directly to a charity after the deadline, it will not be considered part of the fund-raising project. If you donated to one of the accounts in Option 2, it will be refunded.
6. How will you be donating the money to Red Cross?
We will be transferring all the money from the above accounts to the PayPal account, and we will donate all the funds to the Philippine Red Cross PayPal account. Once done, we will take a screenshot of the transaction and the receipts and post it in this Livejournal.
