I agree with you on the letter thing. There's something intimate and inexplicable about a hand-written letter. Something that online communication can never stamp out, no matter how lazy it makes us. I'm not a huge fan of AIM and email anyhow. I'm an old fogie, and tend to stick to either phones or in-person conversation.

I too like hand written communications. I have tried to keep personal journals collected in several binders since 1992. I can say what I want, when I want without offending anyone. It's a release for me.

Times have changed with writing letters via snail mail, but it's still fun to get mail, letters and cards. It makes one feel extra special.

I talk alot too, or shall I call it rambling. LOL

Have a good weekend.

I love the idea of a journal, but i could never get into it. Harriet the Spy made me realize how cool they are, but they just don't work for me. I do, however, love buying journals with nice covers, especially the ones that have a love and key :3

Enjoy getting your tattoo!!

My journals are just notebooks binders of years of my thoughts, now filed away in the basement. I started these years ago when life's living (people) were annoying me, and I felt I had no one to talk to. It was an escape for me, even tho it was a temporary escape. I have forgotten muchiof what I wrote, and every once in a while, I'll pull one out, and the memories will always be there. The good, the bad, and the ugly. I didn't think I could get into it it either, but it WAS a release. And tho I not as daily as I once was, I still try to record things. It's too easy to foget my worth.

**hugs**

though I do pride myself on my intense dislike of female literature and stories with morals about ethnic diversity and/or brotherly bonds in today’s society.

hahahahahahaha.
