Intro: delbor

Hello, I'm new (obviously)! XD My real name is Amanda, but most people online know me as either Frost or Kuro. My friend was talking about the joys of "add me" communities today, and it got me interested too. Since I'm not too hardcore about any anime/manga or any particular fandom, I figured that the only place I would fit would be music-related add me communities. So here I am!

Music is basically my lifeblood. Roughly 22gigs of my old computer is allocated to my music. XD; About half of that is comprised of J-music. I personally prefer J-pop and J-urban, as well as the occasional J-techno and J-trance songs I come across. *loves most techno and trance even though I'm not a clubber* Oh yeah, I co-mod _ongaku and shuffled_tracks. If you haven't yet, you really should join them for music goodness' sake. >P

Anyways, moving on. My top five artists!

1. EXILE
Where do I start? Hmm... I got into EXILE three years ago on a chance encounter. The song that got me into them was the acapella version of Together. It's pretty rare to find a group that can actually sing acapella well. Their harmony is awesome too. It wasn't until later that I found out the group is only comprised of two singers. XD; But that didn't bother me at all. (No offense, but I personally don't think the group needs dancers. Then again, I don't watch MVs. All for the music~!) After the first song, I got my hands on their SELECTED BEST and SINGLES BEST albums. Both of those are of decent calibre too! Definitely worth the listen. If you haven't heard anything by EXILE you are sooo missing out. No kidding. I should probably also mention that EXILE music = my RO music. >3
-- Favorite tracks: Together, Song for You, Life's Reason

2. Utada Hikaru
Typical, huh? Yes, I like Hikki and her music. Personally I like her older stuff more, but change is good and I must admit that, despite of the weird nonsensical lyrics, her catchy songs are addictive. You know, stuff like "I want your baby"? XD Her voice is great, and her music is undeniably some of the best out there.
-- Favorite tracks: First Love, Travelling, Deep River, Keep Tryin'

3. m-flo
Their collabs with other musicians and bands are refreshing and upbeat. They make you want to get out of your chair and hit the dancefloor, 'cause they're just too damn catchy.
-- Favorite tracks: Taste Your Stuff (ft. BENNIE K), Let Go (ft. YOSHIKA), Miss You (ft. Ryohei Yamamoto + melody.)

4. Mika Nakashima
Ahh, my old love. <3 I used to loop her songs day after day. Eventually I overlistened and.. never really went back to listening. But! Her music is awesome nonetheless. There's no doubt in my mind that she deserves the title of "The Queen of Ballads". :D
-- Favorite tracks: Just Trust in Our Love, Destiny's Lotus, Hitori, Yuki no Hana

5. Crystal Kay
Crystal Kay PWNS! Her fast songs are catchy, and her ballads have really emotional melodies. Overall her songs are just addictive.
-- Favorite tracks: Flowers, Kirakuni, Motherland

Other J-artists/bands: BENNIE K, BoA, Bonnie Pink, Heartsdales, HOMEMADE KAZOKU, Koda Kumi, KOTOKO, Maaya Sakamoto, melody., Rie Fu, RYTHEM, Ryohei Yamamoto, w-inds., WaT, Yuna Ito

That's all for now. I feel that I've already said too much. D: If you'd like to add me, feel free~! Do let me know that you're from this comm please, so I won't be taken by total surprise. XD Thanks!
