Justin & Lana [NFB]

Justin leads Lana to his place in Fandom Town, he's really thankful for the help she's offered to give him in the garden; he's afraid she'll feel overwhelmed when she walks into it, it's slightly grown wild since her last visit. As he enters the home, he drops off his coat on the couch edge and starts a pot of tea in the kitchen.

"Tea, dear?"

Lana laughs when she sees his garden. "You weren't kidding when you said you'd let things slip a little, were you. Oh Professor, this is perfect! I could lose myself for hours here." She smiles up at him, only then realizing that he asked her a question, "Tea? Oh, um... sure. That would be very nice."

Her laughing is rather contagious as he begins to laugh as well, "I guess you're right, I was just so busy these past weeks with the Lawyers and settlements.." he sighs as he pours her a cup of tea, "But, I'm sure you won't complain much once you get out there."

She adds some cream and sugar and takes a sip of her tea, savoring the warmth. "Nope, no complaining for me. I'm grateful to just be able to do something more physical than studying."

He sips his own tea, setting it down for a moment to roll up his sleeves of his stark white business shirt, he was determined to get it stained this time, "It's like a bloody battle field out there." he grins at her, loving how enthusiastic she was about planting.
