Romantics [NFB, Lana And Justin]

Earlier that day Justin had sent Lana a note requesting her presence at his house later on in the evening for a surprise. Her attire would have to be formal, as his would be as well, but not too formal. Justin had worked all day on setting up the dinning room table, making it as romantic as possible. He had personally made a delicious meal for them

Lana showed up at Justin's house. She was wearing a simple knee-length dark blue dress and had put her hair up. She knocked on the door feeling curious and a little nervous. "Justin?"

One last look at the dinning room before he fled across the house, almost tripping over multiple things on his way there. He opened the door slowly, she took his breath away, "Lana. Welcome." he smiles broadly, holding out a hand for her to take.

Lana took his hand and leaned in to give him a kiss on the cheek. "Well, it was a nice surprise to get your invitation. I'm all intrigued now, though."

A glint of happiness touched his eyes, "I have a surprise for you." he whispers in her ear before practically pulling her across the house in his overflowing excitement. He quickly covered her eyes lightly as he shuffled her into the dining room, "Surprise." he said sweetly as he let his hands fall away from her face, showing a beautiful arrangement.

Lana's cell phone rang. She looked apologetically at Justin and dug it out of her bag. "I'm sorry. It's Lex, he's a friend, well, technically my guardian at this point. I have to take it

Justin drops the towl that was dabbing the side of his mouth, he's staring at her like she was the man out to kill him, his face went deathly pale as he sat there. His surroundings seemed cooler, he shivered as his downcasted his eyes to the empty dessert plate infront of him
