I use the runic alphabet as code sometimes, and other times as symbols.

Mine are polaroids actually, and I have been using a gluestick to paste them in my bookies for over a decade, and I haven't noticed any fading. Sometimes I use tape to re-enforce the edges.

Oh this is great. I love the idea of a calendar page. I think I'm going to start doing that in my journal as well. Fantastic!!!
