Why is it on LJ you have to pay for everything? Myspace isn't like that. But, I still think LJ is better than Myspace. I don't know why. I need my question answered! Cause I don't think you should have to pay for journal writing and commenting. Maybe I'll just update to one of those sponsored accounts. Oh well ( Read more... )

If you think about it though, you don't really have to pay to write and comment. You can do that stuff with a free account. Not trying to pick at you, I'm just sayin'.

I think the reason for paying is to cover the cost of support though. I mean, myspace makes their money though all of the advertising that they do, for everything. Yes, LJ has ads, but they are fairly new and optional for users, you know? If we don't choose a sponsored account, we never see the ads, so really LJ probably isn't making too much money from their sponsors.

It's a pain to pay for some of the added features, but I don't mind. LJ seems to have a pretty good support team. I rarely have problems with my LJ account but I CONSTANTLY have issues on myspace that need attention. I would never pay for an account there because I don't think I'd ever get my money's worth.

I got to mosh to it too. It was damn good. I got one of the bottles he threw into the crowd after he drank out of it, but then, like a dumbass, I get back into the mosh pit and lose it. Oh well. Next time they're in town i'll drop you a comment! lol be sure and pick up the new album in august. its gonna rock ass man. later.
