Thank you for the input. You have made suggestions that will more than likely be incorporated into our emerging...whatever this is. I like the not "identifying people" on the "Brag and Rag" - it gives folks a venue and a means to get what they have to say off their chest. I mean on some level all members of this will realize that feelings are important - but if a guy(or a girl) is a douche, then we get to say as much ( ... )

Thank you for the compliment sweetheart, that is kind of you. I am smiling a lot more lately, things have settled out at work, my family is doing well, I have great friends and a wonderful boyfriend that I somehow have ended up head over heels in love with. Oh, and Crow created a knitting monster. Rawr.

Actually I have managed to snag myself an amazing man who insists on date-y type dates. And this is AFTER we are already a couple! He has taken me on real dates that made my knees weak! I am a lucky girl!!! Seriously! The dinner, the door holding, the nice conversation... I am so utterly spoiled anymore.

I hope the dissertation goes well. Madison *twitch* I hope you keep some of your sanity!!!

Is that what brought on the mindless drone state? Madison?

You and I have talked about this problem -- but we never really came up with a solution or even anything to DO about it. So this is a proposal that seems to sound good (at least in theory). I am sure there are bugs and downfalls, but that's why I am asking about what my smart friends think - about my barely reasoned proposal.

There is an Italian bakery on Clark, just north of Balmoral - about three doors north of Hamburger Mary's - so, the pastries all seem to be from another world kind of perfect - but the Italian Man/Boy that works the count is -- it's like something in heaven that got made perfect and it escaped. You should definitely check this man out. It's like warmth and comfort and something really happy flows out from him when he smiles.

I like my idea for a club. I think I am going to need cards.

I'd consider it, but I am a bit intimidated and he is without much doubt, in the "out of my league" category. But as this is an attempt to do away with fear of rejection that comes along with "dating" I will ask him. If he is cool enough to come to the trial mixer then I will ask him out.
