good thinking on avoiding the catholic wedding. If you think you are ready to get married i support you 100% as long as i am invited to the wedding. i love weddings!

Your not getting married yet, you are waiting half a year. Tell them that. Half a year is almost a lifetime anyway. Plus everyone's input doesn't count, they don't know what they are talking about (unless it is what you want to hear). The only thing I am concerned with is how much I hate going to weddings, I'll hate yours much less than most, but it will still be a wedding.
