Stereotypes & How Characters Evolve

In “Stranger Than Fiction”, stereotypes are used in a very effective way. Stereotypes are established to show the differences between the protagonist, Harold Crick, and other main characters in the story. First thing to say: that was a really good journal post! I agree with you on all points, but I really find it strange that Jules Hilbert and Harold Crick both believe Harold needs to die in order to make the story perfect. I mean it doesn't make sense taking a life for a book.
