Speaking of family dynasties: Carl Levin has announced he won't run for re-election to the Senate (woe!) and the talk here is all about whether one of the (ohpleasegodno) Romneys will run for the seat. If we're going to have political nepotism, I'd much rather see Carl's nephew Andy Levin running for the seat -- at least he has some experience in government.

There's no justice in this world if a Romney gets back in Michigan politics. I thought very highly of George Romney, but the rest are so beyond worthless as to not make the cut for dogfood stock material.

I'd respect George Romney more if his sons hadn't both grown up to be awful people who married awful people. One lousy son may not be the parents' fault, but two suggests something wrong with their upbringing.
