**Stephen Fry will play sidekick to fellow Brit Rupert Grint in Super Clyde, CBS’ single-camera comedy about a fast food worker who decides to become a super hero. Specifically, Fry will play a butler who is “the Alfred to Clyde’s Bruce Wayne.”**

yeah - "fast food worker" and "Bruce Wayne" are images that do not relate any way.

though, I vaguely recall what I think might be an eddy murphy movie about an inner city super hero.....

Now I'm wondering if the fast food worker somehow takes over the legacy of a Batman-type hero, whose assistant is still around.

I think that "the Jeeves to Clyde's Wooster" would have had a bit of an inside joke quality to it.

On the other hand, if Fry plays the character similar to how he played Jeeves to Hugh Laurie's Wooster in the 1990's, it could work well.

it can work for a while if they play it as straight as credibility allows. if they go for laff track yuks every few seconds, then one ep is all anyone will tolerate.
