Can more than one person claim a theme?
Yes! It doesn’t matter if there has already been a fic posted with ‘Bodyguard scenarios’ as a theme; just as long as yours is original, it is fine.

Can I incorporate more than just three themes into my fic?Yes, you can use as many of the 75 themes as you would like. Just make sure to list them in the ( Read more... )

Judges will be myself, the person who beta reads my stories and maybe another person. Obviously judges can't participate in the comp.

After that, the rest will be left up to a community vote.

I come bearing a question! A friend of mine and I are interested in this, and we kind of wanted to write a oneshot that's a side story to this fic we intend to write in the future. Would that be acceptable? (The co-write and side story?)

The co-write thing will be fine, so that is all good, and as long as the oneshot can completely stand alone it will be allowed. If you need to read the other story for it to make sense then I won't allow it.
