As the fifth anniversary of JRRP fast approaches, I'm taking some time to announce that as of May 31st, 2007, JRRP will be closed, one day after our fifth anniversary

Everything I could have said, I've already said. I, for one, do not want to see JRRP close, and it's really too regretable that you don't feel you can pass it on into hands who are willing to keep it running...

Thank you for posting this. I don't believe for a minute that this was done with haste, or without thinking about how this will effect plenty of muses and muns. For that, I don't envy you, but because of all the work you've put into this, and because there's probably plenty most of us will never be privy to, I can't blame you. I've not been here as long as many, but I respect and value this game and the friends I and my muses have made. Thank you for letting us share this with everyone.

In time, I know that everyone here will do right by their muses, whether that means retirement, seclusion, or moving on to a new home. Maybe those of us that wish to continue to be together in a community can stick together and go found a new home and keep everyone safe.

j, as someone who knows very well the thought, effort, and care you put into making this decision, not to mention everything you've poured into the last five years, i applaud you and sinergi for all you've given everyone here in creating and caring for this community.

jrrp completely changed the course of my life and i'm very grateful for it and the lifelong friends found here. i do hope to ultimately see the muses of this community stay together. i'm thankful to everyone who's kept this community thriving for such an amazingly long time and so glad to see us make it to our fifth anniversary.

thank you for making this place, and for bringing all its people together and keeping us here for so long. it's given me a lot of gifts that i'll get to keep for long after it's gone, and that means so, so much to me.
as a person who has been staunchly faithful to this place for the last 4 years, it will be hard to lose, but i agree with you both that closing it is the right thing to do.

I am not sure how to comment here. I dont know what to say, I mean theres alot of mix feelings some not good. Okay MOST not good, but still I dont know what to say.

I am sure you have your reasons, but still this the longest running RP that I have been a part of. I hate to see it go. And my boys feel the same way.
