Hi, I'm Jay, and I'm looking for an RP partner to waste my life away with.
I RP on AIM and Skype. Leave a comment here and we'll exchange information.
I like my plots made up of complicated interpersonal tangles, knitted with realism not melodrama, and with an emphasis on internal consistency.
Plots: I like non AU, AU, mpreg, high school AU, power dynamics, genderswap. Everything LGBTQ, I would love plots with femslash. I like non-Jrock crossovers, (though kpop tends to bore me.) I'm not the biggest fan of supernatural AUs in RP because they rarely feel well-crafted, but I might be open to the idea.
I have trans* characters, and intend to play them. You don't have to be totally enlightened on all aspects of trans* identities, and your characters certainly don't have to be, but you should be willing to have them in the game.
I will not write out: romanticized abuse, rape/'non-con'.
My main jrock characters are: Miyavi, Takuya, Bou, Teruki, and Miku of An Cafe, Mao and Aki of SID, Megu of Zwei. I also have an OC, and I can also play a little Gazette, Alice Nine, Dir en grey, and SiSeN. My favorite non-jrock characters to throw into a jrock setting are Shane from The L Word and Bill from Tokio Hotel. I want to try Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day and Pink.
I play against: Any Jrocker I've heard of, basically. Any character I listed is free for you to choose, too, except maybe Miyavi. (If you can tolerate him at all I WILL play him.) I'm currently craving a game with a Kaya. I'd love to see what non-jrock muses you'd like to mix in, too.
Assorted info, so you know what you're getting into: Sometimes I act like I've eaten a psych textbook for breakfast.
I have a lot of plot suggestions. Don't be afraid to say no sometimes, and don't be afraid to incorporate your own. I don't want to dominate a game, I just have a lot of ideas. I also don't cling too hard to them if the characters seem to be pulling us in another direction.
I really like mpreg. And regular preg. And basically any other way of incorporating babies into a game.
I am genderqueer myself, which is why I have trans* characters.
