Okay. Um, thanks for your opinion. I was trying to be kind of realistic, but I wasn't too sure, since I haven't really found out much about the Japanese music industry. It was just an idea that kind of popped into my head.

Um, well you have valid points and all, I'm sorry I didn't quite make it realistic enough. I tried to do so, but I admit, I'm just going mainly for this specific plot and tried to make it as realistic as possible around it. I don't know very much about business or the music industry, so I did sort of make stuff up. Thanks for the information about it though.

About Dir en Grey, I realize they've changed quite a bit and aren't really v-k anymore, but I took a few liberties there and kind of made them like the past, because that is the Dir en Grey I'm more familiar with. (And I don't plan on them doing fanservice, but what I do plan on using Shin and Die for is very unrealistic too, I'm pretty sure. >_<;)

Thank you very much for your critism and information.

Just for your future reference, the management/label/recording process and setup in Japan is very, very similar to the US and Googling it would have done wonders. Research is a very big part of writing, and it'd be unfortunate for a story that has some potential to be drowned in basic errors like that. Most of the unrealism was because none of the events mentioned COULD happen, or that they'd happen in that way. A producer is going to discuss the reverb on the chorus, tape delay, layering vocal tracks, etc. Not which band members stand suggestively close on stage. I'd recommend making this change or it's just not going to make sense. Personally, I think the band's leader would have more say in who does what for fanservice than any professional management would. Perhaps you should enlist a beta reader that knows more about the business, and I'm sure some exist; yours obviously didn't catch these errors ( ... )

Thanks, I tried to do a little research, but I haven't had much time. I'll try to make it a bit less out there as I go on, though that will be hard with this plot. I hope I got the other Japanese things (besides the music industry) a bit more realistic. Thanks again.
