oh, wishful thinking. :) if only!

I kind of wonder how Peter actually slept at Neal's place? He only seems to have that one tiny couch...maybe a sleeping bag on the ground? I kind of doubt June would even own a sleeping bag...but I wonder what the writers intended...

I think the writers purposely left us wondering. There's no way he slept on that couch, but he could have slept elsewhere in the mansion. Or he could have shared the bed with Neal in a real hetero-buddy way. (Although there must have been serious UST going on, right?)

Aww, this was a sweet story. :) I can just picture Neal all excited to tell Peter how to dress. LOL. And being an old married person myself, I have to agree with Peter - when you have to sleep alone it's just not as restful. I LOVED that Neal jumped right in and offered to sleep there. Or should I say demanded. LOL! And I think it's perfect that Neal punishes Peter by depriving him of his company. Because no matter how annoyed Peter may get, we all still know he really DOES want to spend time with Neal. Thanks for the story. :)

Thanks so much, Ficwriterjet! Lol, despite Peter's comments to Neal over the breakfast table, one of my favorite parts of the show is the way Peter loves being with Neal. And he looked almost heart-broken when Neal kicked him out! So, yeah, I think Neal was punishing Peter by depriving the man of his company. :)

Aww this fic is so cute! Even though I am not married I can see why Peter feels lonely when Elizabeth is not in bed with him, must feel weird, especially considering they are so close <3 Love Neal's little kid enthusiasm at wanting to dress Peter up and I like how you tie up the ending for Home Invasion too with warmth and humour.

Thanks so much! Sorry I'm so late in replying; somehow I missed your comment.

I'm so glad you enjoyed this. I've never been married for ten years, but I kinda figured after all that time it would feel strange for Peter to sleep without Elizabeth at his side. :)
