hehehe! Moz having Thanksgiving with Neal and Mr. and Mrs. Suit.

Why couldn’t he go along with this guy’s save and tease Peter for being such a difficult dad? Because he felt a chivalrous need to defend Peter’s honor. He didn’t want anyone thinking that Peter had been less than a perfect father.

This whole scene perfectly illustrates Neal's respect, admiration, and love for Peter.

Peter could have said, 'forget it' regarding Neal's suggestion that they work together, but these same feelings are apparent in Peter towards Neal, but to a lesser degree. The success of their partnership at the Bureau proves this, imho.

Such a lovely and enjoyable treat to read these fics. Thank you, again.

Thank you so much, Shelly! I appreciate the in-depth comments. :)

Peter tried to say "forget it" regarding Neal's offer to work together back in the Pilot--but he couldn't keep it up, lol. He respected Neal's abilities, he liked Neal as a person . . . and that just goes to prove what you said!

Thanks again for following this series--more soon!

Loved it. This is a great series you've got going. :) I thought it was sweet that Neal (with Mozzie's help) got the three of them tickets to see the game. It does sound like a good father/son bonding experiance, even if Neal knows nothing about sports. LOL. I loved it when Peter introduced Neal as his son to his old high school buddy. I could understand why that more then anything else would convince Neal that the offer was real. I found it true to life that the little kid would notice the anklet, and ask if it was like the one Lindsy L. had to wear. LOL! And my favorite part of this one is Neal coming to Peter's rescue, and telling the guy that Peter hadn't raised him. I also loved that Peter didn't forget the question, and asked again if Neal or Mozzie had conned someone out of the seats. LOL I look forward to more in this series. :)

Thanks so much, Jet! I meant to respond earlier so I could let you know the next part was up, but then I kept delaying it, but now it's up and so I can say, "Look, the next part is up too!" And hopefully that all made sense, lol.

Meanwhile, I'm glad you enjoyed the father-son bonding here. Neal coming to Peter's rescue is exactly what I was going for--even if Peter didn't need rescuing!
