Odd numbered years always suck. But there were good moments too. It has been a very energy draining time. To compensate, I've spent most of my free time either sleeping, reading or playing & replaying Zuma

If you're including fantasy in your sci-fi I recommend C J Cherryh's Morgaine chronicles. Gate of Ivrel, Well of Shiuan, Fires of Azeroth, and Exile's Gate

whoot, good to see you, I've been thinking of you lately. I've recently returned to LJ too.
I've recently been re-reading old (very old) favorites - edgar rice burroughs - Barsoom series, John Norman, Chronicles of Counter-Earth series (priest kings of gor is my favorite), dorthy Gilman, the Mrs. Polifax series, Lilian Jackson Braun, the cat who series. Oh, and this chicky, who actually a little nutters.
