I've been feeling pretty hermity lately. But then I go and, in a bout of narcissism, take a new picture of myself. My hair is pretty long these days (as you can see), but I generally keep it up in a ponytail to minimize the annoyance factor. Woo-hoo! I wash and condition, daily.

I think that picture is even /older/ than I thought: My hair was long in 1997; I think I cut it in 1998. @w@ Right before the haircut (which is why that picture was taken) my hair was this long, and I was that young.

So far, I've managed to finish Halo 1 completely on normal and heroic and two into legendary. Unfortunately, when I decided to go through the game in half a day so I can get that silly (normal) difficulty badge to show on every stage, it wiped my save game on legendary mode and, now, I have to re-start that level from the beginning including the insane ambush encounter just as you board The Truth and Reconciliation. Oh, man, I loathe to go through that again. Hardest thing in Halo so far and, according to a lot of the faqs, the hardest part in all of Halo 1. I don't know how long it took me to get through that, but oh man... If I can get a hold of Halo 2, I will probably do that. I just don't see myself grinding through all of H1 on legendary just for the sake of before I move to the sequel (though, sure, I'd like to get through it eventually ( ... )
