Этимология: "The specific epithet ‘baggins’ is dedicated to the hobbit characters of the Baggins family created by Professor J.R.R. Tolkien in his fiction, in reference to their tendency, unusual among hobbits, to venture away from their known habitat" (op. cit., p. 336).
