i went to Rutgers for 6 years. There are so many differences between campus' it is unreal. The new brunswick campus is the first and oldest, I think charming- especially the church and older buildings. It won't take long to learn the buildings, just one trip or two. The commuters have it hard, because that is the city of New Brunswick- where can you find parking in any city? If you go to Douglas campus it is really only 5 miles or so away- just down George st to the end- I think you mean College Ave campus, not George street- although it is right by george st. I can't imagine the bus will take 1 hour- even with lights, maybe 20 minutes. Depending on stops- really before you think it impossible ,see if you can do a dry run. You may want to even look at the train- the stop is walking distance from the campus. The main problem in the New Brunswick campus is that it was built in the city of New Brunswick, and as Rutger's expanded, the new campus' were better planned for. Nothing is impossible, it can be worked out. At least don' ( ... )
