He wants to un-retire and have the Packers release or trade him.

well, the Packers should release him. He's too damn old, no matter how good he is.

Then he should have asked for that from the beginning instead of making a big deal about retiring.

The Pack has no responsibility to let him out of his contract (and they don't have to pay him during it, that's so brilliant), so he needs to stay at home drinking... oh wait, not drinking. Ah hell, he's retired, him and Kerry Collins should open a bar together.
