I saw Barry Melrose GO OFF on Ribeiro and Kovalev... and divers in general (Holmstrom).  He was almost yelling.  (Don Cherry style...only angrier.  VERY angry.)  "It was great to see his stupidity lose the game for his team."  It nearly brought a tear to my eye.

Here's what Calargy's Denis Gauthier said about Forsberg diving (could be applied to anyone, tho):

After watching the Avs game last night... I won't say Forsberg doesn't fall down when he gets hit, but I will say he can still play the game on his knees. More than once did I see him complete a pass or get a shot on goal while sliding on his kness after "colliding" with a Dallas player. Then again there were only... 6 TOTAL penalties in that game... And he was on his knees alot "Get on your knees!!!" I dunno that came outta no where. And in any Avs game I have watched I haven't seen anyone take a penalty off of Forsbergs antics... then again all I have seen is him getting drilled cause thats the only way to get the puck to pop 6 ft. away from him.

I dunno you all don't have to agree, and I expect some flak... so it's okay

No. You're absolutely right. About knees...AND about the puck squirting 6 feet away from any check. Last night, in the last 2 minutes of the game, I saw him fly into the camera-angle, miss the the guy with the puck, and CRASH into the boards...There was NO stiffling of laughter. I was terminally entertained by it, and could watch it continuously for several minutes without getting bored.
